June 3rd was a special day for Grandpa Max and this year even more so.
It was on this day 50 YEARS AGO that he married his dear wife!!
50 YEARS!!!
John and I were thrilled that he was willing to come out to Waterton with us yesterday evening to celebrate. We took him out for dinner at the Prince of Wales hotel (fancy schmancy!), then we walked through the town site and ate ice cream cones from Mooselicks ($1 cones - booyah!), and finished the evening off by taking some photos of Grandpa down by Pass Creek.
This is the sweetest man I know and he is married to the sweetest woman that I know.
How I wish they could have celebrated together but I really do believe that she is near him always.
Thank goodness for the promise of ETERNITY - 50 years is just the beginning!!
