Just a few weeks ago, this is what my garden looked like.
Beautiful blooming gladiolas, potatoes, carrots, beets ready to harvest. Chard and strawberries in abundance. It was FULL of life.One week ago- it we turned it into this. I spent two days digging up those vegetables telling myself with each awkward bend that this is the work that builds character. Or if nothing else...induces labor! :) Once John got home from work, he had it all nicely tilled and ready for winter in no time.
One day after that....
Winter Came.A lot can happen in just a few weeks.
Just a few more weeks!

Yeah apparently we spent all our October heat in September and now we have no choice but to go straight into winter. I don't recall voting for that.

that is nuts. You have...or had...once amazing garden.
When I first read this post I thought that's crazy, snow already it's way too early for that! Now we woke up this morning to a lot of that white stuff too! I'm so not ready for winter!
Also, I am so jelous of your beautiful garden! It was amazing! Good luck with all that is on your plate at this time! The countdown is on and we're all really excited to meet your little mister!
