Dear Summer,
You have been so full and busy that we have not had any time (any at all) to go to Waterton. It's true. We've loved every bit about you, but it hardly seems okay with me that our favorite place in the world has remained unvisited all these past seven weeks.
Something needs to change.
I think tonight, after we have fed Grandpa, we will drive out there and see what there is to do. Perhaps we'll watch a demonstration at the Falls theatre (I've been meaning to do that) or perhaps we'll hike bears hump. I'm certain we'll walk along the shops, stop for sweet potato fries and throw rocks into upper Waterton lake. No doubt, this will remind Sam and John of the whitefish they once caught there and they will set off in search of another. We'll probably stay longer than usual, just so we can watch the bats wake up and start feeding. They fly from high up in the trees, right down to the water, feeding on insects and sipping water - it's always so cool to see.
Only when we are all good and tired and have enjoyed all we could of our Waterton day will we come home. Please hold our calls.
Thanks,
Me
