I love wreaths! Absolutely LOVE them. When I sit on the sofa in my front room I can point out at least 3 different styled wreaths and that number increases dramatically at Christmas time;)
What I don't love though - is crafts. Of any sort.
I just don't think I have much patience for crafts, and combine that with the fact that I don't have the eye and/or ability to actually make something look cute - I'm pretty much hopeless in that department.
So imagine my surprise when I found myself working on, and actually completing this home made paper wreath! PAPER I say!!!
It involved cutting out every single petal and the gluing them in place to create 24 roses. Then placing those around a wreath frame. Of course, I probably wouldn't have done this if I hadn't of had Downton Abbey to watch as well as an endless supply of M*A*S*H episodes to watch while working on it;) But whatever gets the job done- that's what I say!
Now, every time I look at it, I stop to admire the vintage print on the paper, and also to give myself a proverbial pat on the back.
It's not often that I see a craft through to the end!

Um, Tanis, if you cut out every one of those paper petals yourself I think we can all safely say that you do indeed have the patience for crafts. Nicely done! Looks great by the way!
Looks great Tanis! Wanna make one for me... :P
Awe....thanks guys!!!
Not gonna lie- it totally made my fingers cramp up;) (But I'd make one again for you Shauna;)
Wow Tanis! That wreath is beautiful.
Awesome! I want one! And I loved all the signs. Hahha, that made me laugh.
PS Jax is back to annoyingly asking how many sleeps until we see Sam. One night as I was putting him to bed he said, "Mom, did you know Sam wins ALL the Wii games he plays?" Sam has a fan.
WOW, that's beautiful! TONS of work, but so worth it!!!
