A couple of weeks back, while visiting my father in law at the hospital, he asked me if I'd seen any eagles yet. That's when I realized - March was already half over and I hadn't even gone for a country drive yet! It had been such a crazy month for us, but with this new invitation from Max, I decided to stop procrastinating.
The next day, John, the kids and I hopped in the van and embarked on our annual drive along Beazer road. We'd chosen the ride day and time to go, as we'd barely set out before finding our beautiful bird. In fact, we saw NINE eagles in total and some of them were so close to the side of the road and hardly shy at all. It was BEAUTIFUL!

Jessica held a notebook in here hand the entire time and kept track of the wildlife that she spotted. (We're working on her spelling, but you gotta love her sweet effort;)
As we passed by Romeril lake, the family couldn't help but get out and try fishing for a few minutes. Snow had fallen just the night before, and the wind was blowing fresh cool mountain air right at us, and yet - these boys were determined! Nate and Sam had just gotten new fishing rods as a gift and they've obviously taken that as a sign that fishing season has begun. (Of course John wasn't going to stop them;)
So I guess it is apparent - Spring has officially arrived!
Now if someone can just notify those clouds of that. Tell them to move on out - we're ready for some SUN!!
