Am I crazy, or does this not look incredibly cozy. A day like this one would be so nice right about now. I'd turn up the heat, make some hot chocolate...the kids would be out having a BLAST in the snow. Yet I remember that day swearing that if I had to shovel "one more inch of snow..." I'd probably lose it! It got me thinking about all the times I fail to appreciate what is right before me. When it is hot out, I want it to be cold. When it is cold, I wish it to be warm. Is everyone like that or is it just me? Perhaps I need to try to be more grateful for the situations I am in at any given moment, instead of always wishing for another. My goal for this year is of course to learn how to Savor the things in my life. I don't remember savoring this day. Perhaps I'll just stare at this photo for a bit and appreciate that day now.

It does look cozy.I love curling up and being all warm inside when it is cold outside.The novelty wears off in Jan.
You're CRAZY! (don't be mad at me cause you gave me permission!). Today feels like another Wally's Beach kind of day! Don't jinx it with posting about snow.
I think you're crazy too!! :) I am dreading another wisconsin winter, and I'm not looking forward to looking out the window and seeing that! I'm glad you can appreciate it for me!!
You are so crazy I can't even begin to tell you how crazy you are!!! I'm enjoying 80 degree weather thank you very much! And I'll enjoy it as long as I can before I have to deal with THAT!
So soooo sooooooo crazy! I like to curl up with a good book and some hot chocolate reading a great novel on a snowy day with the rest of them...but in December not September! I really like fall...and winter until about January 15th! I am praying that it will stay nice just a little longer...we haven't had enough snowless months yet to satisfy me! It was May before our snow was all gone.
SOMEBODY once told me that our "thoughts" can be quite powerful, and all we need to do is "send it out to the universe" and it will happen...As such, I would greatly appreciate it if you would stop thinking these crazy thoughts!!!!

I remember the first time you posted that picture and your original thoughts on the weather that day.
I know what you mean about wishing for hot when it's cold and for cool when it's hot.
My personal tolerance for winter generally expires on January 2 barring unforseen circumstances.
I'm sure your initial reaction to the scene in your photo will be restored in full sometime before the end of that month.
There seems to be a lot of people who think you are a little crazy Tanis. :) It does look cozy but I think I will enjoy the picture and that is all. I am not much of a winter person and would gladly lay out in the sun with a good book while the kids play. :) But you are definetly right about needing to enjoy what we have at the moment. I always enjoy your posts.
